Rebekah Demirel
Acupuncturist · Clinical Counsellor · Author · Trauma Educator
For over thirty years, Rebekah Demirel has helped people, and the organizations that serve them, recover from trauma, stress and pain. She is a classically trained registered acupuncturist and registered clinical counsellor, a former BC Ambulance paramedic and paramedic trainer of more than twenty years, and the author of the memoir Nothing’s for Nothing. Her work rests on a simple conviction: it is never too late to feel better, and healing happens body, mind and spirit together.
“Rebekah’s greatest gift is resilience. She truly is one of the most resilient people I know, and her writing conveys that effortlessly.”
— Dr. Gabor Maté
